Preparations for the recording of the upcoming third CD of Bettina Pohle & Ralf Ruh Trio are under way and approaching the closing phase: Just four weeks from now the recording will take place once again at the GREVE STUDIOS in Berlin. The new CD will contain blues, standards, originals and also a song written by Johnny Cash composer Tim O' Connell from Nashville, TN, who contacted us earlier this year with the question whether we would be interested in recording one of his songs, and of course we are. So, just for the recording drummer Peter Horisberger travels to Berlin from Switzerland in order to complete the Ralf Ruh Trio together with Lars Gühlke at the bass and Ralf Ruh at the piano. The new CD will once again be released by Octason Records and is expected to be out in early 2014.
